If you buy the optic with the mount directly from Larue Tactical the price is pretty good.

I have a few rifles with Larue Tactical mounts.
AR10 with Nightforce in a LT-104 mount
5.56 build I recently did with a Comp M3 in a Larue Tactical Cantilever mount
A precision build I did with a Nightforce in a LT-104 mount
Another 5.56 build with Comp M4/Magnifier in Larue Tactical Mounts
SBR with Comp M4/magnifier in Larue Tactical Mounts
My 6.8 with a Leupold mounted in a LT-104 mount
As you can see I am a big fan of Larue Tactical mounts.

Mike,
I’d like to warn people about buying scope mounts from LaRue Tactical since you may well not get the one you need, and then they won’t do anything about it. When you spend $250.00 for a scope mount, it damn well be the one you needed, especially when you called and spoke to their rep before ordering.
If you could warn your readers, I think it would be a great service to them. Perhaps ask David to do the same. The story is in the below email stream.
The picture of my rife, scope mount and scope fitted and bore-sighted attached. As you can see, it has to go all the way up to the turret to get a decent eye relief. Also, I had to crank it all the way up to get it bore-sighted for 100 yards, leaving no more elevation for greater distances.
Before anyone buys a quick disconnect sight from LaRue Tactical, they better know exactly what they need to get because the reps at LaRue have no idea.
The shame is that I have previously purchased two other mounts for ACOGS for my other rifles from them. Still they have no interest in rectifying this situation.
Thanks,

My son has been collecting the components to build himself a 7.62 NATO sniper platform on an Armalite receiver much like the one pictured. He was thinking, if memory serves me correctly, of getting a LaRue Tactical mount like the one pictured. I will discourage him from doing so.

The Urbino Tactical Stock takes many of its design cues from the Benelli factory tactical stocks. “But the Benelli stock was a point of departure for us,” says Mitch Barrie, president of Mesa Tactical and the primary developer of the Urbino Tactical Stock. “We thought it was the most comfortable stock for tactical shotguns, but like all factory stocks it was too long for tactical applications. Our law enforcement and military customers urgently needed a stock with a reduced LoP. They were also clamoring for a stock for the Benelli M4, which is beginning to see wide adoption by law enforcement special weapons teams.” The Benelli M4 semi-automatic shotgun has been adopted by the US Army as well as the US Marines, and is rapidly appearing in American law enforcement arsenals. “For some reason,” continued Barrie, “the Benelli M4, while a terrific shooting platform, is something of an orphan when it comes to aftermarket stocks. Our law enforcement customers were very excited to learn we were not only working on a shorter stock, but that we were supporting the Benelli M4 right out of the gate.” A prototype Urbino Tactical Stock for the Benelli M4 has been undergoing rigorous testing with a major west coast police department during the winter of 2009-2010, and has been receiving rave reviews from test participants. “Apparently,” says Barrie, “it’s just what the doctor ordered. We are very excited to be bringing this innovative design to market.”
